In March, my reading challenge gained momentum as more readers joined me on the quest to expand their literary horizons. A few of you shared your progress, with some completing multiple books in just a few weeks. As we approached the end of the month, the excitement was palpable as I tried to rush to meet my goals before the deadline. A reading challenge not only helps me cultivate a love for reading but also allows me to connect with like-minded individuals. I look forward to seeing what April holds for us all and invite all book lovers to join me on this journey of discovery.
My chosen books from my reading challenge in March 2023 were:
A Crime fiction book - Next in Line by Jeffrey Archer, I love his writing style
A book featuring a Library or Bookshop – The Bookshop of Yesterday by Amy Meyerson, I am always pulled inot a book with book or bookshop in the title
A book by an Author you have never read - The Mission House by Carys Davies
A classic book you have avoided reading - The Professor - Charlotte Bronte
I am enjoying the journey into different genres but due to my move I didn't get to read The Professor by Charlotte Bronte but it is in my 'To Be Read' pile. I also didn't get to read The Bookshop of Yesterday by Amy Meyerson as it didn't arrive in time for me to read it in March, so again it will be in my 'To Be Read' Pile when it does arrive.
Let me know what book you are reading that has changed your mind about something, or opened your eyes to something new?
Love Alis
