Conquering February's Reading Challenge: Embracing Literary Adventures, Reviews, and Recommendations

Updated: Dec 9, 2023

READING CHALLENGE

We are in February, and I have moved onto the next 4 books in my ‘Reading Challenge’. How are you all getting on? This month has been slightly more difficult to keep up with my reading as there has been so many more distractions, not least my family move to Devon has now been given a date of 9th March 2023 and that is only 2 weeks away so I have been concentrating on making sure everything is ready. But still trying to sneak in as much reading as I can. I will let you know how far I get later.

However, I have chosen my 4 books for February 2023, and they are:

  • Romantic Fiction - What Might Have Been by Holly Miller a must as it was Valentines this month.

  • Tech on the Cover – Dark Matter by Blake Crouch a book out of my comfort zone but one I am really looking forward to reading.

  • Local Author - In Two Minds by Alis Hawkins, I met Alis at one of our book club meetings as she is a friend of one of our members. I absolutely love her books and cannot recommend them highly enough.

  • Released the Year you were born – The Listener by Taylor Caldwell. I was born in 1960 and it was difficult to choose a book that was released in that year, but I chose this one because of the write up so I hope it does not disappoint.

I must say the reading challenge is providing me with many more journeys and openings and as Dr Seuss once said The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more things that you learn, the more places you’ll go.

Let me know what book you are reading that has changed your mind about something, or opened your eyes to something new?

Love Alis
